A store of the future in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood on the near north side that was so inviting when it first opened has now been stripped of many of the offerings that made it such a suprising departure for Walgreens, including an array of fresh snacks, salads and sandwiches and baked goods, self-serve yogurt machines and a greeter at the door to answer questions and provide assistance.
